That is just a joke. But while watching prison break you will surely think of that it is that easy.

Story

In the series prison break Lincoln Burrows was convicted for killing the vice president's brother. He was convicted for the death penalty and is waiting in the prison «Fox River» for his death. Even though he is innocent, someone was able to let it look like he killed the man. Thus, he does not see a way out anymore.

His brother Michael Scofield tries with all methods to get his brother out of prison and to save his life.

While watching the series you notice that there is a huger story behind it than just a normal murder. 

In the beginning, it especially deals with the prison break out of Fox River followed by the escape.

Later in the series, it gets clear that they also fight a battle with a higher power. The higher power is an organization named «The Company», which is an union of international groups and governments. 

As a viewer, you often don't see ways out of the situations or circumstances they are in, but the above-average intelligent Michael Scofield always knows how to help him and his friends out of every situation.

Introduction of the main characters 

In my opinion, the series is one of the best series. When you start to watch prison break you think the huge story is the first prison break, but after they escaped the story gets even more interesting. Thus, it is literally through all episodes thrilling and hard to stop watching it.

The series is often build up that things happen and you don't really understand the background. You begin to get ideas of why things happen and a bit of a time later you get the answer and the answers are always so smart. You never know what will happen next and thereby the suspense remains and it makes fun watching it.

I also like that all characters are different, unique and gripping. As a result, some characters give the series a touch of comedy and funny moments what makes it an even more addictive series. It is basically a great mix of many things considering genres, the story and characters.

I would recommend it to everyone to watch the series. Even a try with only the first season will might cast a spell over you.
